Events at the 25th Australian Sikh Games

The Australian Sikh Games are much more than just an annual sports carnival. They provide a chance to celebrate our unique Sikh culture and religion. They are an opportunity to meet new people and catch up with family and friends. They are also a way to contribute to the wider community and promote multicultural Australia.

So apart from the sports events held from 6-8 April 2012, a number of other functions will be organised over these three days. Read on for more information.


Gala Dinner

The 25th Australian Sikh Games will conclude with an exclusive Dinner and Dance at Le Montage, Lilyfield. Key details are as follows:
  • Date: Sunday 8 April 2012
  • Time: 6pm to 11.30pm
  • Address: 38 Frazer Street, Lilyfield
  • Tickets: $110 per person or $1,000 for a table of ten

Sikh Forum

The Australian Sikh Games are not just about sports. Each year a Sikh Forum is run in conjuction with the Games to promote open discussion about our religion and culture. In Sydney this year there will be a panel discussion open for all to attend and contribute to.

  • Date: Saturday 6 April 2012
  • Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm (morning session) and 2.30pm to 4.30pm (afternoon session)
  • Venue: Rydges Bankstown, 874 Hume Highway, Bass Hill 2197 (Cnr Strickland Street)
