Tournament Divisions
The badminton tournament at the 25th Australian Sikh Games will consist of the following divisions:
- Men's Open Singles
- Men's Open Doubles
- Women's Open Doubles
Playing Times
Play will commence at the following times on each day:
- Friday 6th April: 8.00am
- Saturday 7th April: 8.30am
- Sunday 8th April: 8.30am
Draws and match times will be updated here when finalised.
Tournament Format
- Each division will be split into groups. Each group will play a round-robin competition.
- The winner (or top 2 places) in each group will go into a knock-out against the winners of the other groups.
- The number of groups will depend on the number of participants.
- The number of points per game will also depend on the number of participants (either 15 or 21 points).
- Champions, Runner-Up and 3rd Place winners will be presented with trophies
Tournament Rules

- There could be some variation of the rules to accommodate the time constraint of this tournament (e.g. number of games, number of points).
- The Umpire's decision is final. Any disputes will not be addressed at the badminton tournament.
- Disputes must be lodged in accordance with the ANSSACC general championship rules, terms and conditions.
- Because of the time constraint and limited number of courts, participants will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
